Thank goodness for southern Tool and Fastener. They have supplied me with nuts, bolts and screws over the years for a 1960 Volvo marine diesel refurb and for my 53 Enfield restoration. Outstanding knowledge and variety of hardware.

Always helpful here, with knowledgeable staff to sort you out.Huge select of fasteners etc that aren’t available elsewhere.Good selection of tools, welding stuff,machinery, pumps etc.Is the local representative for Stihl , providing sales and service.Highly recommend this place.You’ll be surprised what they sell and can order in if not in store.Check it out for your self....

Avoid if at all possible!Went in to buy chainsaw protection pants.Got sold padded pants with no saw protection.Used them for several weeks without realising how much risk they had put me under. (Grounds for an easy lawsuit if I had the time)Took them in to get a refund and have been jumping through hoops for about 8 months.They even tried to tell me I had bought them somewhere else.Still never got my full refund or even an apology, even after multiple attempts.Sthil are a great company, but this shop and its management taints their good name.Got to Star sales or Marshal Mowers, they actually care about customer service, admit their mistakes, and always make it right.

Didn't expect to find the screws that I needed but got them here along with great service and price.

Well to be honest the atmosphere in the shop was a tad heavy? I didn't feel all that welcome? Maybe they didn't like chaps with long beards! Apart from that negative comment the shop is fantastic! Full of bloke stuff & if l had some coin l could have bought one of everything! They sell Honda products which from experience are absolutely bulletproof. A great shop for the most part.

Place for tools and things you need and it is wheelchair accessible

A truly underwhelming experience....waited 15 minutes to get served while i watched blokes ( I’m female) who came in after me get attended to. Guy who eventually wandered over knew nothing about the product i was inquiring about. Also gave me incorrect Information. I rang back to order the item, once I’d got the correct details Elsewhere. ‘ No they didn’t have it in stock. No point in ordering it, because none available worldwide till March next year, no way you’d get one anywhere cos He knew all about world wide supply..’ I bought one in Perth after being helped by a perfectly charming helpful fellow. I think the local blokes are taking the name Southern Tools to heart! I would always rather shop local but these folk aren’t ever getting my cash.
